The Lord of Beginnings. Enthroned in Cosmic Splendour.
This is not décor. This is a living divine presence — a museum-level, one-of-a-kind Ganesha Pattachitra, hand-crafted by a master artist in the centuries-old tradition of Odisha temple art.
At 13 × 19 inches, this painting presents Lord Ganesha in his full six-armed glory — radiant pink form seated in lalitasana on a teal lotus platform, star-dotted cosmic black behind him, green canopy arching above, his sacred mouse at his feet, every arm carrying a divine object, every ornament blazing in gold against the dark.
Small in scale. Absolute in presence.
There is nothing else like it.
The Divine Form
Six arms. Each holding a sacred object — serpent, mace, lotus, rosary, modak, and the gesture of blessing — every hand a specific transmission of divine grace.
Ganesha sits in lalitasana — the posture of relaxed royal ease — the posture of a deity who has already removed every obstacle and now simply presides over the abundance that follows. His radiant pink form is the colour of compassion, of warmth, of the divine made approachable.
At his feet, his vahana — the mouse — sits in faithful attendance. Small, alert, loyal. The mouse represents the ego brought into service of the divine — the mind that once gnawed through obstacles now harnessed as the vehicle of wisdom.
Above him, a cosmic arch frames the scene. A green canopy of sacred foliage crowns the arch. The black ground behind him is scattered with small white stars — the infinite cosmos held within the temple sanctum.
A Palette Unlike Any Other
Pink. Gold. Teal. Green. Orange. All blazing against deep cosmic black. Silver-white floral borders containing the entire composition in feather-light ornamental precision.
This is not the restrained red-black-white palette of classical Pattachitra. This is Ganesha in full celebratory colour — vibrant, joyful, commanding — the deity who presides over abundance depicted in the visual language of abundance itself.
Every ornament, every garment fold, every detail of the lotus platform is hand-rendered with fine traditional brushwork. The silver-white border of feather and floral motifs that frames the painting is a masterwork in itself.
Spiritual Significance
Ganesha is invoked before every beginning — every home entered, every venture launched, every journey undertaken. The six-armed seated form carries the complete spectrum of his blessings — wisdom, protection, abundance, the removal of obstacles, and the grace of new beginnings.
His presence is believed to invite positive energy · prosperity · creative abundance · harmony · auspicious protection in all endeavors.
Ideal for living rooms · prayer rooms · meditation spaces · offices · entrances · sacred walls
