ORDERING
How do I place an order?
Browse our collection, select the artwork you love, and add it to your cart. Once you check out, you'll receive a confirmation email with your order details. For custom or bulk orders, reach out to us directly before placing your order.
Can I reserve a painting before purchasing?
Yes. Because every piece is one of a kind, we can hold a painting for up to 48 hours while you decide. Contact us on WhatsApp to arrange a hold.
Do you accept custom or commissioned artwork?
For selected collections — particularly Pichwai — yes. You can specify the size, deity form, colour palette, and level of gold detailing. Commission timelines typically range from 3 to 8 weeks depending on complexity. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
Can I buy multiple pieces at once?
Absolutely. We also offer bulk and corporate gifting packages for offices, hotels, and events. Get in touch for pricing on larger orders.
AUTHENTICITY
Are these paintings original or printed reproductions?
Every piece we sell is an original, hand-painted artwork — never a print, reproduction, or digital copy. Each one is unique; no two are alike.
Who paints these artworks?
Our Pichwai paintings come from trained artists in Nathdwara, Rajasthan — the historic centre of Pichwai painting. Our Pattachitra works come from traditional scroll-painting families in Odisha. Our Bastar Dhokra sculptures are cast by tribal metal craftspeople in Chhattisgarh. We work directly with artisan families, not intermediaries.
Are natural pigments used?
For traditional Pichwai and Pattachitra, yes — stone-ground minerals, plant extracts, and natural dyes are used, following centuries-old methods. Some contemporary pieces may use refined mineral colours.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to most countries worldwide. Every artwork is packaged with conservation-grade materials — acid-free tissue, tube rolling or rigid board backing, and double-walled outer cartons — to ensure safe international delivery.
How long does delivery take?
Within India: 4 to 7 business days.
International: 10 to 21 business days depending on destination and customs clearance.
Custom commissions: shipped within 5 to 7 days of completion.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping on all orders.
Will my order be tracked?
Yes. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. You can follow your package every step of the way.
Do you handle export documentation for international orders?
Yes. We manage all export paperwork, including commercial invoices and declarations.
PAYMENTS
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and international payments via a secure gateway. Prices are displayed in your selected currency at checkout.
Is it safe to pay on your website?
Yes. Our checkout uses industry-standard SSL encryption. We do not store card details.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is your returns policy?
No returns or exchanges accepted.
Can I return a piece simply because I changed my mind?
Because each artwork is one of a kind, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind once the piece has shipped. We strongly encourage you to contact us before purchasing if you have any doubts — we'll send additional photographs, videos, and measurements to help you decide with confidence.
What if my painting is damaged in transit?
Please photograph the damage immediately and contact us within 48 hours. We take full responsibility for transit damage and will resolve it promptly.
CARE & DISPLAY
How should I store or display a Pichwai painting?
Keep it away from direct sunlight, which can fade natural pigments over time. Avoid humid rooms such as bathrooms or kitchens. Hang with appropriate wall fixings suited to the weight of the frame.
What type of framing do you recommend?
For maximum preservation, use UV-protective glass and acid-free matting. A simple, clean frame in natural wood or gold leaf complements the traditional aesthetic without competing with the artwork itself.
Can I clean the painting myself?
Dust very gently with a soft, dry brush. Do not use water, cleaning fluids, or damp cloths on the painted surface. For deeper cleaning or restoration, consult a professional art conservator.
How long will the colours last?
Natural mineral and plant pigments are exceptionally stable. Pichwai paintings created centuries ago still hold their colour. With reasonable care — no direct sun, no moisture — your painting will remain vibrant for generations.
