The Sculpture
A single vase rises and splits into two open mouths at the top, its hourglass form pinched at the center before flaring out again at the base. The entire surface carries fine, hand-etched linework, with a delicate vine of small leaves trailing down one side. Made using the 4,000-year-old lost-wax casting technique of Bastar's tribal artisans — a hand-modeled clay core wrapped in wax thread, then cast in molten brass, with the wax destroyed in the process. No two pieces are ever identical.
Original. Handmade. Never reproduced.
