The Sculptures
Two bulls rest low to the ground, legs stretched forward and back, their hollow latticed bodies forming a small open basket along the back — doubling as a pair of pen holders or trinket bowls. Every surface is textured entirely by hand: fine diamond-weave lattice across the belly, ridged horns, a beaded collar at the neck, and a curled tail resting along the hind leg. Made using the 4,000-year-old lost-wax casting technique of Bastar's tribal artisans — a hand-modeled clay core wrapped in wax thread, then cast in molten brass, with the wax destroyed in the process. No two pieces are ever identical.
Original. Handmade. Never reproduced.
