The Sculpture
An elephant stands with trunk raised high and curled — a traditional symbol of luck, wisdom, and prosperity — draped from head to tail in a densely worked ceremonial jhool, its bead-and-leaf-drop pattern covering the entire body in fine repoussé texture. An ornate headpiece frames the face, and a small standing attendant figure rests at the front shoulder. Cast in solid brass with a rich antique-gold finish, hand-etched detailing runs from the crown down to the anklets on each foot.
Handmade in India. Individually hand-finished — slight variations in texture and patina are part of its handmade character.
