The Sculpture
A striking pair of handcrafted Dhokra horses, created in solid brass by tribal artisans of Bastar, Chhattisgarh. With their tall, elegant forms, intricate tribal detailing, and distinctive ornamental harnesses, these horses bring a sense of strength, movement, and heritage to a space.
In Indian tribal art, the horse represents courage, loyalty, strength, and nobility. Displayed together, the pair creates a beautifully balanced decorative statement for an entryway, console, bookshelf, office, or living space.
Each sculpture is made using the ancient lost-wax casting technique, in which the form is first shaped in wax and covered with layers of clay before molten brass is poured into the mold. The clay mold is broken after casting, making every finished sculpture individually crafted and unique.
Original. Handmade. Never mass-produced.

Shipping & Care

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, abrasive materials, and chemical cleaners. Brass naturally develops a deeper patina over time, adding to its antique character.
